Why should students take a Co-op course in grades 11 and/or 12?  ​​->  You will gain valuable real life work experience.
->   Better understand a career field you are interested in pursuing.
->   Network and make connections with people in a particular profession. ->   Develop job readiness skills. 

ALL CO-OP STUDENTS REPORT TO THE LEARNING COMMONS DURING PRE-PLACEMENT AND INTEGRATION DAYS

If you are going to be away from your placement, you MUST:
1) Call the placement and notify them.​
2) Call the school
3) Leave a message for your Co-op teacher

Missing any ONE step in the above will be marked as a truancy.

All classroom pre-placement and integration assignments can be found in Hapara or on the website. Check Reflection dates.  

Important Dates:

Pre-Placement - February 7 to February 11 (Resumes, Job Readiness, Skills, ESA, Health&Safety, Unions)

On the Job - February 14th to June 28
